Hi!Yukoママです。
夏休みを利用して海や山に子ども達とお出かけする機会も増える季節ですね。我が家はいとこ家族と一緒に千葉の海に行ってきました。さあ！今月はそんな海での会話です。
At the beach （ビーチで）
Mom: Let's get into the water. It feels good!
（さあ！水に入りましょう！気持ちいいわよ。）
Moe: No, I don't want to.
（やだ〜）
Mom: Why? I thought you liked to go to the sea.
（どうして？海に行きたかったんでしょ？）
Moe: Because I'm scared of whales.
（だって鯨がこわいんだもの）
Mom:Come on! there aren't any whales here.
（大丈夫よ 鯨はここにはいないわよ）
OK, then do you want to play with the sand?
（まあいいわ。じゃあ、お砂で遊ぶ？）
Moe: Sure, I want to make a sand castle.
（うん！砂のお城作りたい）
Mom: That sounds fun. Look! I found some beautiful seashells.
（楽しそうね。ほら見て、綺麗な貝殻見つけたわよ）
We can decorate the castle with them.
(この貝殻でお城を飾ろうか。）
Moe: Wow,they are so pretty.Can I find some more?
（わ〜！すっごくキレイ！もっと見つかるかな？）
Mom: Of course, let's collect them and take them home.
(もちろんよ。集めて家に持って帰りましょう！）

実はMoeちゃん、海に行く途中にある水族館でシャチのショーを見て、その迫力にびっくりしてしまい怖くて海に入れなかったのです。水族館に行くのは最終日にすればよかったねとパパが残念がっていました。
